![]() The above is my log for running mario64 on mupen with gl as video driver. mupen64plus: Starting R4300 emulator: Dynamic Recompiler mupen64plus: Initializing 4 RDRAM modules for a total of 8 MB mupen64plus: Game controller 3 (Standard controller) has nothing plugged in mupen64plus: Game controller 2 (Standard controller) has nothing plugged in mupen64plus: Game controller 1 (Standard controller) has nothing plugged in mupen64plus: Game controller 0 (Standard controller) has a Memory pak plugged in : Requesting 64 ms latency, using 64 ms latency. ![]() : Using font rendering backend: freetype. : Max texture size: 8192 px, renderbuffer size: 4096 px. : Vendor: Intel, Renderer: Intel(R) HD Graphics 2000. extensions: WGL_EXT_depth_float WGL_ARB_buffer_region WGL_ARB_extensions_string WGL_ARB_make_current_read WGL_ARB_pixel_format WGL_ARB_pbuffer WGL_EXT_extensions_string WGL_EXT_swap_control WGL_EXT_swap_control_tear WGL_ARB_multisample WGL_ARB_pixel : Adaptive VSync supported. : Using configured "gl" driver for GL HW render. : Using HW render, OpenGL driver forced. mupen64plus: Rom size: 8388608 bytes (or 8 Mb or 64 Megabits) mupen64plus: Goodname: Super Mario 64 (U) : Loading content file: E:\Retro Console games\N64\Super Mario 64 (U) \Super Mario 64 (U). : SYSTEM_DIRECTORY: "E:\Installs\RetroArch\system". : Redirecting save state to "E:\Installs\RetroArch\states\Super Mario 64 (U). : Redirecting save file to "E:\Installs\RetroArch\saves\Super Mario 64 (U). : Remap directory: "E:\Installs\RetroArch\config\remaps". : RETRO_ENVIRONMENT_SET_CORE_OPTIONS_V2. : No game-specific overrides found at "E:\Installs\RetroArch\config\Mupen64Plus-Next\Super Mario 64 (U). : No content-dir-specific overrides found at "E:\Installs\RetroArch\config\Mupen64Plus-Next\Super Mario 64 (U). : No core-specific overrides found at "E:\Installs\RetroArch\config\Mupen64Plus-Next\Mupen64Plus-Next.cfg". : Loading dynamic libretro core from: "E:\Installs\RetroArch\cores\mupen64plus_next_libretro.dll" Capabilities: MMX MMXEXT SSE SSE2 SSE3 SSSE3 SSE4 SSE4.2 AVX CPU Model Name: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU 3.30GHz Requires to run for at least 4096 frames. : Does not have enough samples for monitor refresh rate estimation. : Content ran for a total of: 00 hours, 00 minutes, 00 seconds. : Using content: E:\Retro Console games\N64\Super Mario 64 (U) \Super Mario 64 (U). : Written to playlist file: E:\Installs\RetroArch\playlists\Nintendo - Nintendo 64.lpl I tried changing my driver from gl to d3d11, but it didn't help : Written to playlist file: E:\Installs\RetroArch\playlists\Nintendo - Nintendo 64.lpl The same game(s) works fine on parallei64 though(and Mario64 ran a few months ago on mupen64 with gl settings on this exact same pc). ![]() Now, when I try running Mario64(or any n64 game for that matter) on it, the core blacks the screen out and crashes. So, first of all, right off the bat, I had used mupen64 on my same spec pc just 2 months ago.
